I know the answer, i just want opinions from other people around the world... It is obvious that the best soccer player for three years in a row is Zizou and he is the best but we also need to know thta ZIZOU IS A LEGEND....

Both are great players of course.But definitely Zizou is way much better.He is a legend.Despite of his headbutt to Materazzi,I won't blame him at all.It is not the first time for Materazzi to be headbutted like that,he had been headbutted before and it was Shevchenko who did it.Lucky for Shevchenko as he got away from it.Somehow,that just shows what a bad,undisciplined football player Materazzi is.Remember the accident that happened to Messina's player,Marc Zoro who was insulted just because the colour of his complexion?He was insulted by the supporters,and all the football players that were on the field gave him support,even Adriano who was playing for the other team that day asked the supporters to stop insulting Zoro.All players gave their support towards Zoro except for one player,and that player was Materazzi!!! See how bad he is!! That is why we can't blame Zidane at all.I am glad that Zidane won the Golden Ball Award.He deserves it very much.Go Zidane!!

Zidane was named FIFA player of the year in 1998, 2000, and 2003.and Luis figo was 2001 FIFA World Player of the Year. My pick Zinedine Zidane.

Yo man... zizou is even better than platini,pele,van basten.. all of those thought to be legends...
can u imagine a 34 year old player who can run more than a 20 year old... endure more..that's enough to prove that he's a super player... the only reason France won WC 98 was zidane... and the only reason they didn't win it in 2002 was zidane.. and again zidan was number one in WC 06..he's a player from another time zone.. he's perfect.. and he will always be.. set aside his personality.. we're talkin football here.. what matters is how u play..

i think both of them were a great players, but for me Zizou is better, because his play more stabil than Figo...Zizou could improve their technic until the end of his career...he could be a great motivator for his team (i'm not sating that Figo wasn't but Zizou much more have "something" to burn the spirit of his team...)
Now, he become a coach for young children in Real MAdrid junior...God, i can't wait to see Zizou face and train those children =) Allez Zizou!

Zinedine Zidane for sure the man is gifted it runs in his blood. Zizou biensure, la preuve il joue pour 2 equipes (france et real madrid), et je pense que c l'1 des footballerus les mieu payey au monde.

zidane is 100 time better then figo. don't ya know that zidane is the best midfeild in out there. plus figo may never i mean never take the ball out of zidane feet. zidane is a legend.

They are both incredible players, but Zidane is obviously superior. He was named the FIFA best player three years...Figo didnt even play the whole world cup for portugal, zidane carried france to the final and to the cup in 1998. what i find funny is that they both head-butted someone in the last world cup!

well both aint that great, zidane laterly in worldcup just show how unmature he is. Best would no no dount Ronadinho eventhot he sux in worldcup he still has best count those season game.
