Why do I have the desire to keep away from black people?

I know black people, and I get along just fine with them. But, when I here about poor Africans trying to swim to Europe, it makes me really irritated. I guess I have this idea that Europe is supposed to be white because they don't have the same diversity culture that the USA has. If I ever visited Europe, I wouldn't want to see Africans there, I would expect to see white people. Now, I do realize that sounds racist, and I know that it is "wrong," but why does it feel so right to not want to see black people? I am not trying to be funny.

I'm a black woman, and what you need to realize is this:
Poor Black Africans would not need to go to Europe--if Africa had not been colonized, robbed, and destroyed by White Europeans. Here's a history lesson: Africa was once the wealthiest continent on the planet: it had the largest reserves of diamonds, gold, iron, and other precious minerals. Kings and Queens of the African & Egytian empires ruled African countries, with some of the greatest advancements known to man--while Eurpeans were still in caves..When white Europeans finally visited Africa, they later returned with armies to fight Africa, steal the diamonds & minerals, esnlave the people, and sow dissesnsion bewteen African rulers..The Queen of England has a famous crown called the "Royal Jewels" that is full of diamonds, rubies, and saphires--stolen from Africa!... Whites colonized South Africa and stole the diamond mines--which still belong to whites today (DeBeers), and whites instituted "Aparthied"-an aggresive form of segregation enforced by Violence...So, Africans of today are now POOR because of Racsist, evil white Europeans whole stole Africa's wealth. Therefore, the only way many poor Africans can survive today is to.."swim to Europe"...So, next time you feel upset seeing blacks in Europe, remember how pissed all Africans must feel to know that their diamonds & wealth have been stolen by Europeans, while they live in utter poverty.

The mind set is there, even if you do not think you are racist, you are. You may know black people, and get along fine with them, as soon as the 'hi, 'how goes it', and bye', they go their way and you go yours, that to you means getting along fine.

I assume that you are an American, Notice that I said American.
You are the type that would say 'American is American', why do they have to say 'African American'?
What if you see an Asian walking down the street, would you say that he is an American?
Or is he just a foreigner to you. To you they are not American because they are not white enough. So, they say ‘Fine, I not an American, I am Asian America’.

Asian American, Africa American, xxxx American, you will not accept them as American, that fine.

Why is there so many White in South Africa? If I went to South Africa, do you think it is strange to see White?
You sound racist because you are. You are right, they are wrong, you are white they are not.

I am not attacking you, but I am saying, are we all like that in some degree?

I'm glad you feel that way. At least you can admit that you are "racist" and "wrong". When you go to Europe maybe you can stay there. But you won't be able to go to any corner of this earth and NOT find Black people. Sorry, we were here first!!! Original, baby. Get over yourself and stay at home. First of all, there are tons of black people in Europe. All over Europe. They are from all over Africa as well as England, and then of course some of our very own Americans have traveled to Europe and stayed. So you will be surprised if you think that it is only white people in Europe because simply isn't true. There are every kind of race in Europe besides white. I live there! It is very diverse.

Well truth be told you are racist. Why do feel this way? Could it be because you allow other people around you to rub their perceptions of people off on you. Maybe you should try finding your self, and not what other people have tried to turn you into.

You are a racist, and once anyone decides to accept an inclusion of a whole race of people, there comes with it a false sense of security. Bad knews, darling. Black people have always lived in Europe. Notice how toward the southern border of the continent hair and eyes are darker and skin is OLIVE toned? If you said you "wouldn't expect" to see Africans there as oppose to "wouldn't wont" you wouldn't sound as bad.

well i guess i respect you for asking this question and being really honest about it. but i mean..its not like blacks belong in africa and whites belong in europe. you sound extremely racist but hey maybe you're not.. whats wrong with seeing black people-- its not like it'll hurt your eyes and cause you to go blind..its not like they'll impurify the entire country....

why do white people always feel like they should be the majority everywhere? you weren't the orginal people in north and south america to begin with. white colonization is the reason why africa and india now suffer. it is sad that the presence of us brown and black people make you so uncomfortable, but my advice is deal with it and quit whining because you feel uncomfortable.
