If you peel it, the skin under it will be raw and could be a little more painful. As you shower, the dead skin should come off within a few days. Depending on how bad the peeling is, and whether or not there is anything leaking from it, you may want to visit your doctor and have it checked out.

You shouldn't feel bad about asking him to peel it. I've been with my bf for 4 years and we scratch and peel our sun burns. It's not that gross. Though, instead of peeling I would advise that you apply some aloe vera (green gel sold in all drug stores) to your back, it has natural healing stuff in it and will ease itching and not cause any scarring or negative reaction that you may get from peeling too early. Feel better!

get a back brush or loofa and scrub it away in the shower. if you're gonna make HIM touch it, at least do it in the bath so it can be a little sexy. nobody really wants to pick at DRY skin, so just ask him to wash your back for you. <----with the loofa, so he doesn't have to touch it! (unless he likes peeling skin, if so, peel away!)

Yeah, he can peel it..it is kind of wild ina way. It will still itch, the underlying skin is so dry. I recommend aloe...lotions tend to burn on the raw skin.

My husband definitely wouldn't! lol But I dont think you're asking too much of him. Have him rub some aloh on it while he's there. ;) But if he won't, maybe try a loofah, one of the ones with a really long handle? Depends on the burn, though, I suppose; if it's still raw (been so long since I've had a burn).
