Chewed wiring, vacume lines, cactus and rat $hit, damn; where's my 45!

Yep.... Work as a mechanic and seen $1000 engine harnesses chewed up.. Had one that had to have jumped at least 2 feet came in thru an open window and cause $400 damage to a center console of a pickup truck cause it was trying to get at a box of cheese crackers that was open in the center console...

Agree with the .45 but too much ricochet people where I live like target practicing with them in the fields.... better is the local rednecks who shoot at them in the house

Cactus, rats, sounds like southwest Arizona. these would be pack rats I assume. You must drive the vehicle more period. If it's undriveable there is no known cure. Even if you trap/exterminate all the current rats, the smell of their urine and feces in the crevices of your car will quickly attract new ones.

Not only have I never had that problem, I have never even heard of anyone having that problem. What are you running? Cheese flavored oil or something?

Never had that problem. Best bet is to drive that car more than once in your lifetime.
