A long distance relationship will only work if you cannot possibly see yourselves without each other, and you both will do WHATEVER it takes to be together.

And I mean willing to do ANYTHING just to be together.

My hubby and I both sold all we owned, including homes, and moved over 800 miles to a place near the center of where we each lived. We ended up spending 3 years living on opposite sides of the US/CAN border, and eventually I was able to live in Canada with him. Our kids all live 700-1200 miles away from us. And neither of us regrets one bit of it!!

That is the kind of commitment you have to have to make it work.

My friend has a relationship with someone in England. They been boyfriend-girlfriend for some time and things seem to be okay. I don't know if it will work out once they are physically together but I say it's worth a try.

long distance relationships can work only if the both of you want it to, i had a long distance relationship that ended up in marriage, but be very careful, any body who gets homesick after 4 months, and rather be with her family not the person she loves may not love you as much as you think, if somebody is in a strong relationship regardlessof how long and that person loves someone enough they will stick with that person, even if it means being without their family, be careful and goodluck

yes, they can work, but they take a lot of phone talking, time and travel money
unfortunately, it's hard b/c if you end up living together, it's not the same as before. life isn't the weekend vacations it used to be.
if it's meant to be, you will work it out somehow.

Long distance doesn't work unless you can see yourselves being together at some point in the near future. As you tried it and it didnt work i would say end it.

well, just based on the question (i didn't read the details right offhand. i'm rather feverish and trying to rush through this! lol) i have been in relationships long distance...however, i am not with any of them now...so whether it lasts depends on you guys..and God of course. if He wants you two together.
