The fastest I've ever run the mile in was 5:13, but that was 25 years ago and I wan't a miler, I was a 220/440 runner which I ran in 21.7 and 48.4. Now the fastest is around 6:30.
I had friends in HS that could run 4:20.

yes you would beat me my friend i'm 30, 15 stone, so i would surely eat your dust. Did a santa dash for charity last year mind. 3 miles in 35 mins dressed as father christmas, near killed me like, the kids only just got there presents that year. Rudolph had to deliver on his own.

Hey boi watch wat ur talking... in P.E we were taking da test on running in miles. I was the fastest of course. It only took me 5:13 n i'm under 5 feet n ONLY 12. OOH you got beat by a girl! =P

ok i dont run a mile i just jogg and it takes me 15 min on a treadmill on i think 5 or 6 speed
