Bush never got elected by a majority. In 2000, the recount in Florida showed Gore winning, but by that time, the Supreme Court (most of whom were appointed by Bush Sr and Reagan) had already appointed Bush president. He is an illegitimate usurper who has caused more innocent deaths than any President since Nixon, and is the only president since WWII that has tortured prisoners. As governor of Texas, he executed more prisoners than any governor in US history...giving each case less than 15 minutes of consideration before signing the execution order.
Yeah...he's pretty close.
He has also failed in everything he has tried to do during his entire presidency as far as boosting the economy (median family income has gone down by $9000/year since he became president), war (Iraq is a disaster and is getting worse), terrorism (there were no Al Quaida in Iraq until after he conquered it, nation building (Most of the people in Iraq STILL don't have drinkable running water or consistent electricity, a civil war has started, and while they all said that the war would be over in between 6 days and 6 months at most, now they are saying at least 10 more years!). Before he got into politics, he bankrupted 3 large, profitable corporations...one of which even after he was given hundreds of millions of dollars by the Saudis to bail the company out of debt and give it some working capital again.
Failed at being elected as president...so his daddy's friends took care of that too.
Basically, he's one of the biggest failures ever. Not smart. Not a genius. Not successful. Not a great man.
Anyone that thinks so is a complete moron. Makes sense that the states with the lowest average IQ voted the hightest percent for Bush, while the states with the highest average IQ voted for Gore and Kerry.

Are you an idiot? We live in a democracy. We have a representative form of government. The president, who happens to be Bush at this time, was elected. Twice, much to the chagrin of the Democratic party who hate his guts. He cannot run for re election again. Presidents can only serve two terms. A good example of a bloody dictator would be the recently deposed Saddam Hussein who took control of Iraq by force during a coup in which people who opposed him were thrown in prison or murdered. He then went on to murder thousands of people, most notably the Kurds.

I cannot stand Bush at all. I have many reasons I don't want to go into. What drives me crazy, though, is how it is so in style to bash the hell out of that man. Saying something bad about Bush in most circles, is like the secret pass f****** word for people who know very little other than, "Bush sucks".
I can't wait untill Bush is gone, and people have to find a new source for the world's problems. This world was screwed before the man even got into office. He has definitely made his contributions to f****** it up, but it was messed up before, and will continue to get worse when he's gone.
It reminds ironically, of when Clinton was in office, and conservatives blamed him for everything short of being on the 6th floor of the Book Depository building.
In the U.S. we deserve all of the poor governance we get. Two parties take turns on us, but we're only offended by the one that refused to say "thank you".

If the people of this country don't pay more attention to what is going on and put an end to it we will be saluting-Heil Bush. The words New World Order scare me to death. We are taking a chance just talking about this subject on the Internet. Remember yahoo is owned by AT&T. They gave up phone records w/o fighting.

He's an idiot, he's a liar, he's a cheat and he's probably corrupt. But he isn't a dictator, and he certainly isn't bloody, except with the blood of the iraqis and afghanis, as well as US soldiers and now lebanese he doesn't even attempt to stop being killed.

Although everyone is giving you crap about voting, the government decides who we are going to vote for, the elections are pre-determined and are as real as the WWE. So yes he is as close to a dictator as the US will have.
