You probably don't have bulimia, but you still have serious signs of an eating disorder. The diagnosis outlines for anorexia and bulimia are quite specific - to be bulimic you have to binge and purge something like twice a week, I think. Its been a while since I've had to know, but whatever the criteria is, the way you describe yourself doesn't meet it. This is good! But you do meet the criteria for EDNOS which is Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified. This can be just - or more - serious as bulimia, so please don't think this means you don't have a problem.

You should go to a doctor and tell him what you said. Who knews - he or she may think its nothing. But throwing up is never a good thing - its something your body only does when its sick, so forcing yourself to do it isn't healthy. If you can't go to a doctor [because of what you said about your family], is there anyone you can talk to who you can trust? A family member [maybe someone outside your immediate family?], school counselor, or even a friend? If nothing else, just mention it to your doctor next time you go in for an appointment [or schedule one yourself, he can't tell your parents why you came]. Maybe your doctor can help explain to your family how REAL mental illness and eating disorders are.

Good luck, honey. I hope you are okay. I've gone through this before [I also went vegan, but when I recovered from my eating disorder I scaled it back to vegetarian] and I know how hard it is. Please be careful.

Yes, you are Bulemic, whether you purge very often or not is not the point. You could be amking yourself very ill. Try other methods of loosing wieght, there are other safer ways to loose wieght than puking up whatever you eat. Try changing your diet and increase the amount of excercise you do. If that doesn't help talk to your doctor.

No, you're not bulimic. Just don't purge very often and make sure you're getting enough to eat.

Way to go being a vegan, I've heard it's very hard and a lot of people quit. Congratulations on your weight loss. :)

Yes. You are becoming a bulimic. And you need to get yourself some help as fast as you can. Because, if you don't, you are really going to get yourself sick and that is not good.

Please please please see a therapist. You'll live allot longer and be happy with your new self image. Wouldn't it feel better to be able to enjoy your life as you and not what you think everyone else sees. I'm sure that you're very beautiful and have a bunch of friends that love you. Don't give into this kind of distructive behavior. Trust me, it'll destroy your life.

Yes

You should seek treatment. Treatment is usually successful.

Without treatment, you will eventually start to binge eat.
