Have any of you out there who are currently married ever wish you weren't married? This has nothing to do with whether your happily married or not or how long you've been married.....just a random question as to whether there were times you wish you weren't married. If yes, why? When were those times? I predict the answers will be different for guys or girls.

This has nothing to do with whether you're happily married or not. Just a random question wondering if there are times you wish you weren't married. IF so, when were those time(s)? This has nothing to do with whether you are in love with your spouse or not. I think many people are happily married and totally in love with their spouse, but have times when they wish they weren't. I predict the answers will be different for guys and girls, but I could be wrong.

If you're happily married why would you wish you weren't? That doesn't make sense. There were times in the beginning I wasn't always happy and we fixed the problems.... but even then I never wished we weren't married. I think it depends on the people and the marriage....each one is very different.

Yes, everyday of my life I wish I weren't married. Found out too late that he's not the person I thought he was. God willing, I will find a way to get out of it one day soon. I've been married 2 years and this is my second marriage. Should have never left my first marriage. The grass is NOT greener on the other side.

I had that feeling all the time during my first marriage. I think that is one of the major reasons it was my first :) I am now happily married for the second time and have never once wished my wife was out of my life.

I am married for 7 years with 2 kids and I wish that I wasnt married. I want to be single again. I have been tied down since high school and just feel i need time to myself

I knew ahead of time I'd probably never be happily married, so I chose not too. I don't regret it. it's funny though, alot of the people my age are suddenly getting married out of panic AND a lot of the other folks my age are divorcing by the boat load. I get to tell them "I told you so!" .at least now I have a bunch of divorcees to date...

I think it is how you look at it either way the grass isnt really greener it just looks that way at times from both sides of the fence - I am going threw a divorce - the thing I dont miss is the arguing that never stopped - so yes it is not bad

I'm not married but i am in a long term relationship. Sometimes i wish i wasn't so i could see other people, but i quickly remember that i would rather have my girlfriend than anyone else.

It's ironic because I was very happy until my husband told me he wasn't and all the reasons for his unhappiness. Now I"m unhappy and questioning everything and wondering what it would be like to be single and dating. We've been together since I was 16, so it's pretty much just been him for 20 something years now. Maybe it's curiosity or restlessness.

I never thought that I would ever be someone who would answer that question with a yes, but unfortunately I am. If I ever am single again I will never get married. Sad, eh?
