I would think that nurses would need to know at least some of the table of elements because they work with pharmaceuticals and many of the basic elements are involved in they're work like O2, H2O etc.
Students would depend on what they are studying. A drama, music or a clerical student wouldn't need it as much as a medical, chemistry or geology student.

The importance of the periodic table is very important to every body that goes in the field of science. For example you need to know how many atom are need to create an atomic bomb, for prescription you need to number the atomic number for each elements that is used to create medication. So the periodic table is very important.

the periodic table organizes elements to make them easier to find. nurses might need them to know what drugs to use and students use them as a means of organization. its much easier to find the atomic mass of carbon by looking it up on the table as opposed to looking it up in a textbook.

Same as for everyone else. It's a chart of the properties of every known element, including atomic weights, number of electrons, and their proper names.

nothing... EXCEPT THE BASIS OF ALMOST ALL MATTER. Actually nurses don't really need to know it, but technically, students do, because else they mite fail their exams. Practically however, the only use for it is to win Jeopardy or something.

i'm getting that this is meant to be a humorous tale, even though it does not truly make any sense, components are one ingredient, no longer a decision of components, this is like asserting "astronomers have chanced on a clean famous guy or woman talked approximately as the Andromeda galaxy" or something like that.
