Democrats are better to govern than the republicans. The republicans only care for the rich Americans and big oil companies like Halliburton, Exxon etc. They don't really care about the little people which is the reason why repulicans are going to lose this November's election and 2008.

I prefer the Republican party on most fronts. The only thing I don't like is that they don't seem to realize that some poor people work really really hard. They should try harder to protect those few. We aren't being enablers if we help those who make an effort to help themselves.

The Democrats, on the other hand support three D's (disarmament, drug legalization, and debauchery). They also support judicial candidates who will make up rights and read them into the Constitution because a critical mass of people in our society decides they "feel right." Republicans are more likely to support judges that pay close attention to constitutional text and history.

Although I don't always agree with the actions of the Republican party, I have voted Republican for the past 15 years

Democratic party is simply against everything , especially against the middle class working guys like me. wanting me to pay the bill for every social program they can dream up. They make me crazy and I can't stand them,
I rather my daughter marry a atheist than marry a bleeding heart democrat any day. (We're Christian)

You're basically asking what's the lesser of two evils. Republicans say they are for smaller government, more personal responsibility, but does it really look like it with Bush in office? Republicans are also usually against some personal freedoms, due to their religious beliefs and religious morals.
What ever happened to separation of church and state?

Democrats are definitely not the answer either, they love making laws, and love giving my hard earned working dollars to the millions on welfare (I know this I live in democratic Taxachussestts).

I believe the answer is the LIBERTARIAN party

"LIBERTARIANS support maximum liberty in both personal and economic matters. They advocate a MUCH smaller government; one that is limited to protecting individuals from coercion and violence. Libertarians tend to embrace individual responsibility, oppose government bureaucracy and taxes, promote private charity, tolerate diverse lifestyles, support the free market, and defend civil liberties (http://www.self-gov.org/quiz.html ) ."

Politicans are crooked. The best party is the Conservative wing of the Republican party. This is not the crazy right wing Kool-Aid drinking religious nuts. These are the Tom Tancredos, Dana Rohrbacher, Southern Repubicans.

Rule of thumb: Republican less government, less social services, less control of your life, hold down spending, making people more responsible for their life. Democratic: more social programs, dependent on government, class warfare soak the rich the ones smart enough to make it penalize them. make them support the ones that won't work. Make big social programs so people depend on big government. Don't offend anyone make them feel good even if they are wrong. Here is a good article to read by a college instructor learn from history and what the results of the 2000 elections showed. Do you want to be responsible for you, or do you want the government to be responsible for you, which would limit your be all you can be.

Do you want same sex marriage?

Do you want Christmas and God taken out of the Schools?

Do you think abortion should be considered Birth Control?

Do you want to pay women to have children with multiple men who won't raise the children or support them?

Do you want to scale down our military so we may not be ready for another attack on this country?

Do you want the Ilegal immigrants to continue to come into this country, and allow our tax dollars to give them better and more services than we do our own people?

Then THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY MIGHT BE FOR YOU.

Do you believe in God and Morals?

Do you want the opportunity to suceed to your fullest ability?

Do you want this country to have a strong military so we can be fully armed to defend ourselves?

Do you believe children are people as they form in the womb?

Do you want God back in our Schools?

Do you want corporations to thrive, so that you can have a job?

Do you believe we have the right to defend ourselves in our homes from criminals?

Do you believe this country has a right to defend itself when ever and where ever it is called to do so?

Do you believe in free enterprise?

Do you believe in the sanctity of Marriage between a Man and A woman?

The one that currently is not in power. That would be the Democrats at the moment. If you are talking about platforms, there is no difference. You get elected, you get rich if you were not already, and richer if you were. Did you really think anything different?
