I had a friend that was in birth control for 4 months and got pregnant then they figure that she needed a different kind of birth control so good luck with that.......

Didnt your Dr. explain this to you? The pill manufactures say after a week it works. My Dr. says two weeks to be safe. Waiting a month is overkill and not necessary.

I don't know which birth control you mean. I know on the pill, you're supposed to take it for two weeks first.

i have always heard wait one month...go through one cycle of pills before having unprotected sex.....
use a condom for the first month...

Actually the protection is not good for the first month you are on it. Use condoms too for that month

you should wait at least a week to make sure they are in your system at the least 4 days. seriously, you got on it not to get pregnate, dont waste them.
