Sounds like you have sensitive skin to begin with...I would leave waxing to the professionals...

You waited wayyyyy to late to wax! Never go to the beach after a wax. Especially if you get in the water...that will make the irritation much worse and it will hurt too. Of course, it's going to be red and bumpy even more if you get a wax now. It's just going to make a bad situation worse.
At this late hour, if I were you, I'd get a pair of boyshorts instead of a bikini bottom.
Next time def. wax a week or two in advance which will give the swelling and redness time to go down.
Oh and as far as using your razor. Shave when your skin has been wet like 5 or 10 minutes into your shower. Use sensitive skin shaving cream and be sure to use a fresh razor! You might even do better with an electric wet/dry razor...much better than the safety razors.

Don't do it! If you wax at home or at a salon you will be in worse shape than you are now. You have the same type of skin that I do, if you wax, you will have two problems. Your skin will be sort of burned from the wax and waxing sort of rips off a tiny bit of skin with the hair. It will be red and painful.

Try shaving with lots and lots of a very creamy shave gel or shower gel. The more moisturizers the better. Use a brand new razor and keep your fingers crossed.

Red bumps, usually means that you are not using the right shaving cream. Sometimes I use hair conditioner instead of shaving cream and that seems to reduce the red bumps. Waxing is nice, if you can get in professionally done. Home waxes suck. If you have a loving boyfriend or husband they can help you with the home wax...but it still sucks and tends to leave you red for several hours.
Go old school...let it all hang out!!!!

It is too late to wax. You should have done that a few days ago, because waxing causes irritation as well. You are getting red bumps from your razor, for one or many reasons....you are dry shaving....your soap is too harsh....you are not applying lotion and your underwear is rubbing the sensitive area. I would suggest Neet or Veet, which is a hair removal cream....do not place it anywhere exept the normal skin areas or you will burn your self up!!! They also make a cream for those who chose to shave that prevents the red bumps.
Have fun at the beach!!!

If you plan on waxing tonight, trust me, you're not gonna want to show any of that in public tomorrow!

Why not try some Nair, that works really well and won't leave the redness and irritation and swelling that at home waxing will!!!!

You can buy a bikini cream from the store to help cit down on the bumps. I might avoid giving it a shot right before a trip to the beach though. Good luck with that one :)
