No, you are able to maintain some sort of dignity. It's one thing when you are little, but something else when you're becoming a young lady. You need a little privacy then.

No, your mom should not be in the room when the gynecologist examines you. If you prefer she not be there just tell her. Everything between you and the gynecologist is private.
If your mom wants to be there inform her you do not want her in the room for this very private thing unless your say 10 years old. Then maybe that is a little different.
How old are you anyways?

No, but most ob/gyn require that a guardian bring you to the office. But your mom doesn't have to be in there. Therefore, you can tell your Dr. anything and it will remain private. So, if your having sex, your Dr. will know so it is better to be as up front as possible. They are not there to judge you. The nurse will be with you during the examination. If you feel more comfortable asking the nurse questions, you can do that until you feel more comfortable with your physician. Also, if you don't want to see a male Dr., you can always see a female one.

A good healthcare professional will always have a chaperone in the room (another person) but it might be good if it's not your mom so you can be honest with your healthcare professional. By law they are not allowed to tell your mom what they discussed with you and you may be less uncomfortable if your mom is not in the room.

no...the doctor and a female nurse should be in there with you....
and like somebody else said the doctor is obligated to respect your privacy...so you can tell him/her anything and he/she can not repeat it to your mother....
