Depends on what type of payments the seller will accept.
Read the auction listing CAREFULLY (before bidding) to see what types of payments and currencies are accepted, and to which countries the seller will ship.
Check with your local Postal Service to find out what usual shipping charges should be expected. Some dishonest sellers on eBay charge outrageous shipping charges, for auctions that otherwise seem reasonable.
READ the ENTIRE auction listing CAREFULLY, BEFORE bidding.
NEVER mail cash. It is untraceable, and you have NO proof that it was sent. Investigate PayPal.

When dealing with foreign currencies, use a currency converter to see if the deal is worth it.

If in doubt, e-mail the seller to ask, BEFORE bidding.
"Caveat emptor" ALWAYS prevails!
eBay can be a LOT of fun, and you can get some GREAT deals, but you have to be smart about it. :-))

Yes - you can buy from anywhere in the world on Ebay. You don't have to have a credit card, but I would suggest opening a Paypal account (also owned by Ebay) to expedite payment. For this option you can link your paypal account to your bank account, or a credit card. I would recommend a credit card. Cash is never a good way to send money. You can use postal money orders or cashier's checks paid in the currency requested by the seller. Good luck and happy bidding!

I see people selling stuff to and from Europe all the time. Watch those shipping costs though. You might not be getting the deal you think you are if it cost you a fortune in shipping, and some things will tell you "only US and Canada" and things like that. Sending cash is not a good idea. I pay for everything through "Pay pal" so I'm only sending my credit card # to one company instead of dozens.

Yeah you can order from EBay... i think if you want to buy something the best thing is to buy through pay-pal (which you can set up through EBay). That way they'll even convert the currency for you for the right country. But I don't think they'll except cash or credit card for international transactions.Sorry.

Yes; Europeans can buy items off eBay, and there are several European sites for eBay.
You can use a PayPal account, but you don't really want to send cash through the mail. It could always get lost, or you could buy from someone dishonest who might say they never received the money.
I have had several customers from Europe buy my items, and I have never had a problem with their using PayPal.

Yes you can buy from europe. Normally ebay has different url extensions that services different countries. For example, UK people go to http://www.ebay.co.uk to buy and sell items.
Where are you from? I am sure wherever you are from, ebay will service your country. It just depends on what you want is within your country or outside your country cuz some sellers do not ship overseas.

you can sell and purchase from anywhere in the world through ebay, provided you have a computer with an internet connection. sellers determine the form of payment they will receive. everyone will take cash, but it's never wise to send it.

Whatever the buyer and seller agree on is ok. Just as long as both parties benefit from the transaction.
