Is DSL somewhat fast? Im getting it through ATT and Yahoo!
Any help?

DSL uses the available broadband on a copper telephone line for high speed data transfer. Regular telephone use only uses about 10% of the available wire for analog telephone. DSL uses up the rest of the space for fast downloads

not sure what the dsl stands for, however when you do need a phone line for the dsl. Basically its kinda like having a split between the phone and the computer and both are using the service at the same time. Its definitely fast, much faster then dial up and easy to set up and use. I use it myself.
