Hey i had the exact same thing done to me... you have to go to a dermatologist or a plastic surgeon. Depending on the size of the mole they usually do it in the office and you can go home right after. The cost will depend on the doctor but a mole really shouldn't hurt if accidental scratched (I don't want to freak you out) but you should really get it checked. If you worried about cost your insurance may pay for it or the doctor may let you make payments (that what I did). Plus it doesn't hurt that much. :) Promise.

If it hurts or has changed any, you should see a doctor right away. Your family doctor can send you where ever you may need to go. If it is a healthy, raised mole, you can tie a piece of thread around it- tightly and it will fall off in a couple of days. I did this to a mole under my arm. Your best bet is to see your doctor first.

Go to your regular family doctor first. He/she will refer you to a dermatologist, or, if the mole is very large and in a place where scarring is an issue, to a plastic surgeon. It will probably be removed in that doctor's office. Cost will vary depending on where you live, which doctor you go to, whether you have insurance to cover it, etc.

A dermatologist is the best doctor for removing the mole. If you have medical insurance it should be covered. If not call around and check out the prices.

See a dermatologist. Depending on the size, depth, and condition they may freeze, burn or cut it off. I've had all three. Burning stung a little, freezing stings a lot, but doesn't last long, and if they cut it off (usually for lab testing - skin cancer) they numb the area first which isn't too bad. I don't' know about the costs, my insurance has always covered all but the copay.
Good luck.

Well there is a cheaper way alright check this out you take a knife one without a seraded edge and heat it over the stove and once it is hot simply cut the moleoff of your face the heat kills the nerves in the wound and also seals it up so less chance of infection I did it once with an infected cut and everything is dandy now hows that for some redneck medical skills. or you could see a dermotologist they could point you in the right direction.

Go to a dermatologist who can surgically remove your mole. Request also for a biopsy of the mole removed to make sure it is benign. I had mine removed two years ago and it was not a painful process.

Go to a dermatologist. It depends on the size of the mole, and the dermatologist. Good Luck

Get it checked out to make sure it is not cancerous (because if it was or potentially become - then your costs go way down and insurance picks up most of it)
Don't screw around, go to a really good plastic surgeon. This is your face you are talking about.
