The Halifax I know of is in Nova Scotia, in Canada, on the Atlantic coast. There is also a Halifax in Britain, however.

There are at least two Halifax's possibly more. The first one is in England, the second is in Canada. There may be others in the likes of New Zealand or Australia. But they originated from the one in England.
