The anime Kareshi Kanojo no Jijo has an ending song "Yume no naka e" I love the way the song flows, and I was able to find a copy of the song and enjoy it greatly, however, I was watching a japanese karaoke show, and apparently the song was originally sung by another artist, does anyone know who the original artist was, and what album it appeared on? also any other artists who did versions of the same song would be great also. Thank you in advance.

The original artist was Yosui Inoue, a male singer song writer who was born in 1948. The song "Yume no naka e (Into the Dream)" was originally released as a single record in 1973 and was later included in many albums, such as "Golden Best" in 1999.

"Yume no naka e" was the theme song of the movie called "Hokago (After School)" in 1973, and the movie made Yosui Inoue famous as a singer.

Yuki Saito, a beautiful actress and a moderate singer, covered the song in 1989.

I cannot find a video in which Yosui Inoue sings the song but found him singing another song called "Shounen jidai (Childhood Days)." This song is great, especially the lyrics! I feel nostalgic and tears stream down my cheeks whenever I listen to the song....

Wao, what a difficult question.
Many Japanese know this song. cos the original one was released in 1973, by Yosui Inoue.

The song in the Kare Kano was sung by the 2 voice actors in the anime.
by Enomoto Atsuko and Suzuki Chihiro. (the order of name is in Japanese, eg. Enomoto=Surname, Atsuko=First name)
