Everytime i try to login it says invalid friend ID. Are they just having trouble today?

On July 28, 2006, the MySpace servers appear to be down again. After logging in, users viewing the site, no matter what internet browser they were using, were greeted with the message "No authority could be contacted for authentication." Others were greeted with the Invalid ID message, saying that their "account has either been cancelled or deleted" or were able to log in but could not view other users profiles. Around the time of 1:20 PM (eastern standard time), the Myspace servers were temporarily fixed, allowing people to quickly log in. However, by 1:40 PM (eastern standard time) they were once again down. As of approximately 2:20 (eastern standard time), the Myspace servers seem to be functioning.

Yes, My friend went thru the same thing and freaked out and thought her myspace got deleted over a bulletin she posted about Tom deleting myspace on Aug 3. Clear your cookies and files and try again later.

my space is so messed up. there are tons of things wrong with it. i seem to get tons of wierd pages that show up after trying to search or post a comment. a word to the wise, if you open up a bulletin and it asks you for your id and password than click back and dont answer it because then someone can get ur information and cause havoc. thats why all my friends are posting spam. it really isnt them posting it. i made this mistake and saw myself posting bulletins i never wrote so i changed my password and everything went back to normal. but myspace is still messed up and it sux

I heard on the news myspace didn't work cuz thier server broke down...umm..to put it simply thier computers were broken...try loggin' in again a few days from now...I haven't check mine yet

i hear that there are too many profiles on myspace and tom is deleting some profiles if you didn't post some dumb bulletin...im sure its probably not true but you should try again tomorrow and if all fails probably make a new profile

i really dont like myspace anyway, because it really isnt for the public to see. it is just for people who are close to you that u come across from time to time. basically just a place u put blogs up for your friends. thats it.

Yes, you're not deleted, they're just doing work on their databases. I got that message all day but it's been working for me for a little while now.

Yes. They had a power outage last week that has caused a lot of problems. I had the same problem this morning, but now all is well. =)
