I hope not. They should hold out for the tax breaks without giving into these pressures the Democrats.
Seriously, More Tax breaks are the way to go. I remeber the last few times it was reaised. Everything got more expensive the first time and nobody got pay raises the second time. The proponents of a raise will keep everyone equally poor without having any incentive to save, and if you're a small biz owner you won't be able to hire. If you really want fair taxation use the fair tax. (Then we can tax German tourists!)

Trust me, I've seen much worse come from Democrats who want to hold up a bill so they can get something passed. This is typical on both sides. For example, Ted Kennedy tried to attach a horrible bill to a bill that would protect children. That is low.
