Well, since you're not specifying what chair you rent, I'm going to assume you're talking about renting a chair in a barber shop or beauty parlor.
If you have a nice boss, they might give you a break. But I think if you want to keep your spot, pay the rent. If you don't care if you lose the spot and think you'll get another one, don't.
It also depends on the type of contract you have.

Ask the owner or mgr,or whom you pay the rent, they may be able to get some one in your place temp. while you are on leave and will free you up Good luck

Um, yes you do. Just because you're having a baby doesn't grant you special priveledges and having your rent waived. You pay like every Tom, Dick and Jane.
