You shouldn't worry, and you will likely get more as you age. It has been determined that you cannot prevent stretch marks. The elasticity of your skin is genetic. You will either get them like ME, or not get a one after five kids like my friend!!! ;) They will not stay red or purple, but fade to silver over time. A tan helps reduce the appearance temporarily, but could actually cause worse skin problems in the long run. Just enjoy being tall, and be proud you got them for that reason!!! lol

If your really worried about them there are creams out there to help lessen and get rid of them, just be warned they will most likely come back when your pregnant. But all in all no stretch marks aren't a terrible thing. No they wont kill you

There's nothing to worry about. The only issue people have with them is the appearance of them...but there are creams out there that you can buy to help reduce the appearance of them. So don;t worry!
