If inside the rabbit's ear is very dark it's possibly earmites. Use a cotton swab to extract some of the matter, if it resembles coffee grounds.....it's earmites. Have your vet take a look, he will do a slide under the microscope of the matter and will know for sure if it's just dirty or earmites. Don't wait too long before having the vet check it's ear. Earmites are nasty little critters that your rabbit can hear crunch, crunch, crunch. You wouldn't want to hear that going on inside your head 24/7, would you? Oh, earmites are contagious to other animals.

Earmites are very small and hard to see. If your Rabbit is always scratching its ears, and there are sores in the ear and around it, then it has earmites

Guinea pigs are better social, butneither of those are uncomplicated to preserve. They take countless time and money and they both have particular needs that you will be accountable for consisting of, a huge adequate cage, a better half, sturdy high quality foodstuff, vet care and a lot of love. IDO no longer recommend them for a 10 12 months previous as a baby may no longer be accountable adequate for this, yet when you're keen to be accountable, then bypass for it.
