You are basically correct. Israel withdrew from Gaza unilaterally, and it drove the Palestinians crazy because they need to have an enemy to blame for their problems. And Hezbollah up in Lebanon has no justification for its existence if it does not attack Israel. People can argue about the proportionality of Israel's response, but does anyone seriously think that Israel is just supposed to let groups like Hezbollah shoot rockets into Israel's territory, and kidnap its soldiers without reprisals?

yes the hezbollah did apparently attack israel first but the question you should be asking is what was different about this attack to invite such a response. also are you sure that america was attacked by terrorists on 9/11 and it wasnt a big gimmick i have gone through a lot of papers and documetaries which appear to be more convincing than the statement made by bush "If you are not with us you are against us." and did the people of afganistan attack you ? also by fighting in afganistan what did you really gain apart from the overthrow of a taliban regime that CIA financed and armed i the first place. if the atrocities committed by that regime were so bad are those committed in saudi arabia any better just because they are a US ally. and finally it is not the fact that israel is attacking that is wrong it is the ends that they wish to achieve that are wrong. they wish to live surrounded by people who dont like them by beating them into submission did anyone think of why they are so hated. why does israel have to be a jewish state why cant jews and muslims learn to live together maybe that is a question that the religious leader would be best equipped to answer. the fact remains that both the jewish faith and islam are based on supremacist theology they do not acknowledge that there might be another way to enlightnment and salvation apart from their own. so that question is are you asking the right question and what presumptions are you basing the question on. are you assuming that your government dosent lie to you. do you have sufficient historical evidence to support that belief. do think about it and then try to answer the question also remember it is easiest to accept that there is an enemy and you should kill them without thinking why they are your enemy.

Well, Hezbollah did instigate the most recent brew-haha. But, I've heard recently that part of their motivation was that Israel reneged on a "prisoner" exchange they agreed to previously.
I don't condone what Hezbollah did but I definitely see a cause and effect there.
If you want a real eye opener on Israel, read up on how money the US has been giving them all these years -- 100's of billions of dollars over decades. We give them 4-5BB a year in aid, military, loan guarantees, etc. This is for about 5MM people in Israel. It represents money you and I pay into the federal tax system.
Also look at some of the terrorist activities they have undertaken over the years-- from the 40's on.
I support their right to live in peace but they are not exactly angels either.

Keep in mind, whoever started this particular conflict, that Israel as a state, did not exist prior to 1947, and much of its existence is owed to American Jews who settled forcibly in Palestine under the flag of "Zionism". Due to that and the large, influential Jewish community still in the US, the US government continues to siphon larger amounts of money to Israel. While there was never a Palestinian state (the Palestinian people have always been absorbed into either Syria, Lebanon, etc), they were basically invaded by NON-SEMITIC Jews who were citizens of other countries and wanted the land that Israel now occupies. That is the same as me (being partially Irish) going over to Ireland with a large group, displacing the people already there and claiming County Cork for myself! As for Hezbollah, it is just another terrorist group and the US made the mistake almost 20 years ago with the Iranian embassy hostage situation, of not totally CRUSHING this new type of terrorism.

I have been coming up with a pat answer to most of these Middle East question. I think you have gotten your answer , but I thought I would add this as filler to extend the scope of the discussion.
World War III began when the Terrorist decided to attack the US on September 11, 2001 and drag us into the border skirmish that has been going on in the Middle-East since 1948.
It has to be remembered that Israel was our main allies in the Middle East when the majority of Arab nations were sided with the Soviet Union. It also has to be remembered that the Soviets oppressed the Christians and the Jews, but gave Islam free reign. Also while the Arabs say they were there first, there has been a Jewish presence when Israel is not going back to antiquity, and while Rome did scatter the Jews, even after 73 C.E. there remained a Jewish presence there. The Arabs want to deny this, but it has been proved via archaeological findings. The Arabs are NOT innocent in this at all, they are not Victims at all. Jordan was created by the Arabs to prevent Palestine from being located there. All of this anti-Jews, and US nonsense is Arab propaganda.
It also has to be noted that we have never supported Israel with by putting our troops into their war. This is not the same for the Arabs. We have put our troops on the ground to keep them out of the fire.

I understand multiple lesbian couple in Israel who had organic youngsters via sperm donation. I additionally understand a homosexual guy who had a (organic) little one via contract with a lady. As a long way as I understand, there's a court docket order that allows for the opposite homosexual associate to undertake those youngsters however it is not a realistic system. A unmarried man or woman, homosexual integrated, too can undertake a little one from an extra nation. I am now not definite what the repute of the opposite associate might be, although.

Hezbollah started this by it's action,Israel withdrew from
Lebanon and Gaza precisely because they knew the
BS that the Arabs just wanted them out of Arab lands was
nothing but a smokescreen and they had no intention of
stopping the attacks on Israel but 'again' the rest of the world has to be shone because 'again' we're incapable of
seeing things for what they truly are. Also I don't think
WW III started on Sept.11 I think it started when Iran took
the hostages in 1979, that was the opening salvo of WW III

Since we are not privy to the actual intelligence data, we must rely on news reports. According to all the reports I read, Hezbollah opened the ball by kidnapping and killing Israeli soldiers. That represents an attack on Israel and justifies Israel defending herself.

Though I'm not going to write a very long answer I totally agree with what Israel has and is doing to protect itself and their peoples. They must or become overrun by anyone who is against them. And I don't know about you who read this but for myself I believe in the Word of God and in His Son Jesus Christ and I'm not quite ready for the "End of Days" as described in the Bible.
