I would not say you were gullible Jessie. to be gullible means that you are so stupid that you fall for things, however, you are probably like me, a bit naive. that means that you are so innocent that you fall for things, big difference. some of us want so badly to see the good side of things that we fall into the pit of others crap all the time. this may go away with age. I'm 27 and still got it.

Firstly, bathe yourself in freshly picked blueberries, making sure you submerge your head at least once in the mixture of water and juices of the fruit. This will soak some blueness into you, making you question every question and interrogate every answer.
Secondly, as the name is derived from the bird of the sea, you must find a seagull feather and sow it unto your clothing (works best with underwear so it is always touching your skin). This repels gullabilty, as you will become protected by the gull feather.
Thirdly, and the most important procedure to eradicate the gullible gene from your system, you must read one book per week. The books can be of any genre except comics, and the reading of them should be done at night before bed. This will allow your subconcious to "chew" on the ideas presented in the book throughout the night, leaving you more knowing when you wake.
And, finally, to stop believing everything you hear, see, read, or are told, find the sources of the information. So, if someone tells you that 'gullible' cannot be found in a dictionary, nod wisely, grin mischieviously, and get your hands on a dictionary to make sure. If you hear that the world is flat, that God exists, that those people are devils, or that money can't buy love, research every statement- google will be very helpful. But, the key to overcoming gullibilty is to always read the pros and the cons of every argument so that you can defend your point of view with fact and not stupidity.
Good Luck and make sure the blueberries are throroughly washed before your bath as mine had a few worms that made the bath a lot less enjoyable! ;) (means 'wink')

Don't worry with age comes wisdom.
I think that it is sweet that you are gullible: it shows that the world has not affected your trusting soul. -Just remember that not everyone thinks like you and there are people that prey on the innocent. -Always go with your instincts: if something doesn't seem right, it isn't...

Well stop and think when someone tells you something, perhaps like scientifically or common sense wise. Sometimes getting over something like that is the same as getting over a bad habit. It take time.

Sad to say, nowadays it's best to trust no one at face value. If someone wants you to do something or believe something, respond by saying "I'll have to get back with you on that." Then give yourself time to reason out what is going on. Keep smiling, but be smart.

As long as it's not creating major problems for you or anyone else I think it's admirable to try to see the good in others and expecting the best in things life offers you.
