Why do people think it is so great to steal but as soon as something of theirs gets stolen they are ready to shoot someone?

These are usually the people who live their life assuming laws and regulations are for all the others out there, and do NOT apply to them. They never play by the rules the rest of us do, i.e. they may never insure their cars.

YET, when they are wronged they are the first to scream foul and start spouting off the law and what the law says. Much of the time they are right about the law; they have been so busy dodging the law themselves all their lives they know the ins and outs better than most!

It's wrong, I know but I did it A LOT in college. It was such a rush. Most of the stuff I didn't want or need, but just getting away with it. I worked at American Eagle and loved having trash duty at the end of the night cuz I would have already bagged a bunch of clothes to put UNDER the dumpster outside of the mall. Late at night, I would go get the clothes! Also, I would take old purses into stores, go to the bathroom with a new one and switch out my stuff! I am so glad I don't do it anymore. It was definitely an addiction. I'm just too scared now!

Some people steal because poverty is a mother and as long as Bush is in the White House people of Ethnic backgrounds will continue to suffer , starve even steal to feed they're families
I don't agree with it but if a persons family is starving and they work but still can only afford to pay bills and kids are hungry then I figure they have to do what they have to do

Three reasons: one, the thrill and the dare. That usually comes from kids who have nothing better to do. Two, professional thieves. Yep, there is such a thing and they just resell the stuff they stole. Three, klepomaniacs. It's similar to the thrill, but it's more on the level of alcoholism and gambling problems (think Wynonna Ryder).
