I see so many people using sciece and logical reasoning to explain the phonemena around them... Why are they doing that? I always just say go grab your bible man...the answers are in here*... not in your silly laboratories and scientific method, but on these* flimsy rolling paper pages... Thats where the truth is... thats the scientifiosity.
God don't mention no nuthin about evolution... we didnt evolve from other animals.... THATS CRAZY TALK... we came from some dirt and then the boney rib that was pulled from that dirt (after man was put in the kiln and the skin glaze cured)....
Back to my point though... Why are people so concerned with asking questions... when the answers are already here*

Hi, the Bible is a sacred book, it contains models that serve to guide our behaviour. It teaches us to love and to have faith in the unseen, to have faith in God. It teaches us how to ask Him for forgiveness and mercy. I believe that is what the writers of the Books of the Bible intended us to learn from it. In essence then the Bible is a spiritual Book, a manual for the soul.
Science, on the other hand, deals with the physical world around us, with its laws. It makes us understand the magnificence of the Creation, the beauty of life. It makes us appreciate the gift that the Lord has given us here on Earth. Scientists then try to explain the What, How, When. The Bible may explain Why.
Do you see it? Two different things, Science and the Bible, two different ways of thanking the Lord for our life. We have to pay Him back somehow, maybe by trying to explain the natural phenomena around us we are pleasing Him. What else are we to do with the gift of life?

Next time youi have a serious accident with a broken your back, losing pints of blood, would you tell your ER doctor to go to the bible for answers?. Or perhaps with your last breath, you may rage at the ER for using and explaining to you advanced medical science in order to save your vacuous life? The Bible usually provides material from a 2000 to 6000 year old frame of reference. We find today that science helps improve our quality of life as well as the understanding of God's creation from a modern, more detailed perspective.

(1) We don't accept it because we have a different religion, not Christianity or Judaism.
(2) We don't accept it because we don't believe in any religion.
(3) We don't accept it because the bible is simply wrong. For example, the bible says the circumference of a circular altar is 3 times the diameter. That's wrong, it is actually 3.14159265... (approx) times the diameter.

So we can have modern appliances such as automobiles, air conditioners, television sets, DVD players, the internet. I never read about any of these things in the bible. But then, maybe God didn't want us to have these things and we are sinning against Him by using these things. Repent sinner!
