If if you really think that is possible, then it would make just as much sense to say that God must have been punishing Florida and the Gulf Coast with hurricanes because they vote red. Do you seriously think that God is a Republican? If God were a Republican, they would have to change a few verses of the Bible, like the rich shall inherit the earth, and it would be easier for a camel to get through the eye of a needle than for a poor man to get to heaven.

Another question designed to bait! And this one is really good cause you've incorporated politics and religion!!! Wow a double header! Welll you know what if the rest of the country wasn't having the same problem I'd still say, Mother Nature is just very upset with the human race and we had better watch out for her ==Because you can't fool Mother Nature!!! You might be able to fool the red states into voting for you-- but Mother Nature knows what GWB is not doing to protect her.

The God as defined by the King James Bible would not punish California for a vote. The god of that Bible allows "free will" to make choices. The results of the choices are what creates punishment in your life. God, allows you to make a choice to choose him and through that choice you can be forgiven if you accept that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins and accept him as your personal lord and savior. If you do not make that choice it is your free will that was given to you. If you do not believe in God then you do not believe he can punish you. There is some writting of destruction of a village because of a sin filled lifestyle and God's faithful where instructed to leave and not look back or they would turn to a pillar of salt.

Well, I'm sitting here in red Iowa, and it's pretty darned hot out.

Seems to me that the entire country is getting hit with the heat wave, blue and red.
