I think hip hop and rap were originally good, but now it's monotonous. It's all about the same topics, all the videos are the same, there are like two backround tracks per song, and half the rappers don't even have talent. Kanye West and Will Smith are good, but that's all I can think of. Ciara can sing and dance, but her songs are boring. Not all rap/ hip hop music is bad, but ironically most of the popular stuff is. You shouldn't say you hate all rap, or all hip hop, because its not all bad. However, I definitely see where you're coming from.

I DO!

I HATE the direction the music industry has taken. it seems like if you don't have big boobs or aren't "attractive" then your music won't be heard. which is very ironic since I listen to music, not look at it. Image sells. and it sucks. who can rock out to the pussy cat dolls? whatever happened to The Who? or Heart? where are females who aren't afraid to pick up guitars and thrash? they're no where to be found. why? the music industry. no wonder why people download music...why pay for the crap that the radio is playing?

the record companies are way too money hungry, that's all there is too it. the majority of the human population are complete idiots and can barely read, so that's the target audience. That's why rap exhists, to let the crack encrusted morons think if they dress up like some kind of clown and sell drugs and kill each other they'll be COOL and people will like them for it.
