I want to install a 450 water tank at home since the water service is irregular. How do I make it serve for kitchen and bath? Is it better to install on the roof or in the ground with a pump? What materials I need for installation? Any advise very much welcomed!

Water weighs 8 lbs per gallon, and with the weght of the tank, you're talking about supporting 4000+ lbs on your roof! NOT going to happen with a standard construction residential roof. Bury the tank in the ground to use, or better yet, dig a well, and use a pump.

you will need to install a pump with a pressure tank to keep the pressure up so the water will come out when you turn the water on

How I install a water tank for my home is none of your business.

Advice: Either hire a qualified plumber or move.

Dig a well. Much easier to deal with in the long run.
