Ramification: you would end up arguing with yourself.

Yes. Print out this page, cut a strip from the paper, twist the strip, curve one end toward the other and tape the edges flat.

The ramifications would be you would have a paper mobius toy to provide you hours of amusement, possibly using a felt marker to see how you can draw a continuous line on every surface without lifting the marker.
