You're loosing volume during your period which can cause you to become orthostatic (dizzy). It's a fluctuation in your blood pressure when you stand up fast from sitting or lying down. The best thing to do it drink a lot of fluids during your period and try getting up more slowly to allow your body to accomadate to the change in position. But the fluids will help replace the lost fluid. Good Luck

I have no idea what is wrong. But I know taht when I have my period I feel like that too, and I usually park it infront of a fan for a while. For some reason that seems to help. I thought that maybe I was going threw mentopause, but that is rare I am only 25

I'm wondering if it's your blood glucose, I agree with eating something. As long as you are not filling a pad more than once an hour.. (that mixed with dizziness is bad and needs to be seen by a doc).
Eat some chocolate..you know you want too lol

i think of it can be a solid concept to get it appeared at. i'm getting dizzy while i haven't eaten in awhile or if I stand by surprise, stand after sitting for awhile, or stand for an prolonged time. i do no longer comprehend whether that's why you get it or no longer. See in case you spot specific cases once you look to get it.

have you been tested for anemia? if you are anemic, that could cause the dizziness...and would be worsened by menstruating (which depletes your body of iron). If it continues or becomes a problem, I'd check with my doctor about getting tested.

you should also drink plenty of water. Women tend towards dehydration when menstrating. dehydration can cause lowered blood pressure and that can result in dizzy/fainting.

you could be anemic. My friend was like that on her period. she talked to her doctor and had to start taking some kind of pills for the iron deficiency

you may have anemia. Does it normally happen when you are on your period? try using iron pills (ferrous sulfate) and if that doesnt help you might want to consider seeing an md

You probably need iron. You can get it in pill form in any drug store and it is not expensive. If you are on the pill you may need to see you gyno, your prescription might be too strong for you.
