When you make the rules - you can't break the rules. What garbage. I've never in my life seen anyone who invented the game, lied about the need for everyone to jump into play, and then to suit his own desires repeatedly change the rules. It upsets me that the world sees America as a bigger threat. Believe it or not this country is bigger than George Bush, and even the numbers in this country show the man to be more of a detriment than an asset. The biggest threat to world peace is George Bush. Moreover, the real strength of a super power nation is in being able to circumvent the need for bloodshed. To do otherwise just shows that you've got the power to be little more than the biggest bully on the block.

I see memories are short. While I agree there has been some wars we shouldn't have been in like Vietnam I do believe that alot of the world peace that the world has enjoyed is because of our involvement in world events such as WWII.

I also believe some people will never be happy with the US. As long as there are those people they will always preceive the US as a threat to peace no matter what we do.

How could people not think Iran is not a threat? They are radical thinking for starters. There was a little country back in the 30's and 40's that wasn't preceived as a threat to peace and we all know what happened there.

First, We don't poll the world when we decide to defend ourselves. Second, America has been the largest force for good the world has seen in the last century. We and our allies defeated a brutal Nazi regime and made a democratic ally in Germany. We and our allies defeated imperial Japan and made a democratic ally in them. We and our allies defeated the tyrannical government of the Soviet Union and have supported their slow movement toward a capitalist economy and democracy. These combined efforts have freed countless MILLIONS from the oppression their leaders imposed on them. Younger folks in this country don't realize or perhaps did not learn of the sacrifices earlier generations of Americans made to make the world a better place. People yearn for freedom. Thank God America was there to help out.

Speaking of Iran, their youth are no different.

The world should read it's history books. Under the Marshal Plan we re built all of Europe after World War II. We send billions of dollars in aid to third world countries every year. When the tsunami happened we sent more money men and equipment than any other country. We are not a threat to world peace we are the only thing keeping the world from total chaos.

People see what they want to see.
Do you honestly think that if America stood around ignoring the rest of the world, all other countries would just get along with each other peacefully? Never did learn much in World History class did you? If America stood down, another country would vie for big-kid-on-the-block status - forcefully if necessary. Which country would you rather have as the worlds lone super-power? A Middle-East country? A Communist country?

Most of the America-Hatred comes from people would rather see their culture, their country be on top.

I couldn't care less what the BBC has to say. They are more leftist than the NY Times, so they are not even a consideration in my mind of any credible information. The only reason we are a threat is because we are no longer putting up with terrorist who think its okay to bomb our embassies, ships, buildings and kill Americans. We have been sitting back since the 70's while we've taken one hit after another. If we are so bad, why do they always come running to us? Answer that please? If they want American Money and American Blood, then we are going to get something in return. Sorry, that's just the way we work. You don't like the terms go elsewhere.

Israel is the main important probability through fact Israelis specifically are a team of bigotted non secular zealots who've plenty ability all international. in case you're a jew interior the U.S. you may pass to appropriate universities and get the appropriate jobs no remember how dumb you ought to be. The U.S. can be a raffle to peace. possibly no longer plenty precise now that Obama is the President yet while Bush became the President then issues have been diverse, he became merely common retarded and loopy and unsafe. He attacked Afghanistan and Iraq and brought about the dying of maximum of harmless human beings. speaking of Iran, the present Islamic regime is so cruel and barbaric. each and every twelve months, they torture and kill hundreds of harmless Iranian voters. yet this regime does not represent the Iranian human beings and Iranians are battling to overthrow the mullahs. If Israel and U.S. hear to the voices of those human beings and quit interfering with their countries concerns, then Iranians will finally prevail and could topple those Islamic dictators.

If terrorists laid down their weapons and killed no more innocent men women and children to terrorize, there would not be another shot fired, freedom would reign. If America laid down its arms there would be another Holocaust. Think about it. America isn't the enemy and if you believe it is then you are brainwashed. Yes the world needs oil as it is now, that should change but until it does, oil must be allowed to be transported to refineries and then ultimately to the consumers. Your and my life depends on it like it or not. If you don't like it then eliminate everything that is a product or luxury derived by the use of oil. To do otherwise is hypocritical.

I agree with it. Sure, some countries like Iran and North Korea have caused problems, but America is not helping - we're only getting more people killed, making more people angry and turning more countries against each other.
It makes me sad to see that people think really this, but I certainly can't blame them. I just hope America can change they're bad image and start helping out these other countries, not going to war with them.
