Are you forgiving because they are walking back in?
People have issues and problems. These will affect you but it doesn't mean it was because of you, even if they think it was.

You forgive them because it's better for your own mental health. I mean, who's experiencing the anger? You are. Easier said than done, but also as time goes by, things mellow. But don't ever EVER take the bastard back. It's idiotic.

You just do, and if he loves you he'll go to counseling with you. Maybe that's what you need to get through this. Plus it will show a commitment on his part that he is committed to your relationship, and that he does want to make it work.

first you have to take some responsibility. even if you just picked the person. and second.. you move on... as quickly as possible. a replacement interest would help.
