I played one of the old school boards (the one with the guy in the robe on the box) when I was about 9 or 10...anyway when all of the adults were playing they "tried to contact" one of their mothers who had died, and at that moment a picture of her flew off the wall and landed face down. Every light in the apartment started flickering, in every room, and no one was anywhere near the light switch. We were in an upstairs apartment and it sounded like someone was outside banging on all of the walls, which would have been impossible. My grandmother asked how old she would be when she died and it said 74, that's how old she was when she passed. So far it's been right about everything we asked. It said I would have 2 kids, but I'm only 22 so I gotta wait and see how that works out. I bought a newer version of the board, but nothing happened. The triangle piece didn't bugde. Has anyone else had any similar experiences?

So, I don't believe in Ouija boards. I'm far too level-headed to really think that I'm contacting someone out of this realm, and they are taking the time to move around the little viewer on the board.

But I still have a freaky experience; one that kept me from EVER touching a Ouija board again:

When I was 16 years old, I found an old Ouija board in my mom's childhood closet (where my grandparents still live). So, my friends and I packed it up and took it with us. That night, we thought it would be funny to sit at the park and play with it. We asked all sorts of silly questions, and really scared each other with it (I know I pushed it along a few times, and I'm sure my other friends did too).

Later that night, I took the board out of my car, and into my walk-in closet (because I've seen the Exorcist). While I was in my room, talking on the phone, I heard this huge THUMP-THU-DUNK from my closet. I thought it was something falling down, but upon inspection, everything was fine. I closed the door, and went back about my business. About 30 minutes later, it happened again...so being convinced that something was going on with this Ouija board, I took it out and put it in my car trunk.

I left it in my car the next day (which was Labor Day, about 8 years ago) in plans of giving it to a friend, because I was done with the scary stuff and the random thumps coming from my closet. Instead, I had a car accident and totalled my car.

I was fine, and eventually I gave the Ouija board away (after it sat in the junk yard with my totalled car). Whether or not the Ouija board had any role in all that crazy stuff, I can't be sure. But I haven't touched one since.

Yeah...funny, I just asked a similar ?...About 15 years ago me and a buddy were messin around trying to contact Cliff Burton (the Bass player from Metallica) who passed not long ago (at that time). I put Master of Puppets in my tape deck, which I had cleaned earlier that day and in the middle of the seance, if you will, my tape sped up like the chipmunks and scared the **** out of me...that was scary.

I 've had nothing scary happen, but I've had some unexplainable things happen while using one.

I am not sure it really works, but even if it does, to me, it is evil. My future is up to God and I.
