Where in Arizona? and what time of year?
The desert? light cotton clothing summer and winter you'll likely want a light jacket.
Desert temperatures are ranging from the upper 70's to low to mid 90's but it is unseasonably cool right now.
The White Mountains in the east and the San Francisco Mountains north of Flagstaff right now have temperature ranges of between the mid 40's and mid 70's with plenty of rain. In the winter dress for snow.
In the Four Corners it is ranging from the low 50's to the low 80's again with rain in the forecast for the next 8-10 days.
In the Yuma area it has been running from the low 80's to about 105.

Definently tanks and shorts! Maybe flipflops, it depends if you are used to cold or not. When you're wearing tanks you can always put something over it. I live in Arizona and it is mostly hot unless there's storms. But in high country like Flagstaff it is alot colder than a city like Phoenix.
