A platonic relationship is fine for two people who are not married or for a couple wherein one of the two has a medical problem preventing a normal relationship. Otherwise, there is something wrong.

Fine - no problem with them. I have both male & female friends. One of my best friends is a female. I can tell her things I could'nt discuss with my male friends.
