People keep saying canada. They remain neutral because they are smart. Don't want to look like an American flock. Catch my drift?

Britain and America have a very good relationship. They have a strong Navy and Army and would be able to back us for a while.

America seems to always support Israel and if we butt-kiss enough as a country we'll probably get support from them; they're incredibly powerful, able-bodied males AND females are forced into the military at 18.

Poland has been America's ally despite all things happening between America and other European Union countries. Poland was one of the first countries to go into Iraq with Europe. Poland stands in the top 3 in the WORLD for its bomb technology, bomb assembly and bomb detection. It's intelligence and its well trained army are always going to be there. Also, America has allowed many Polish immigrants in and given a home to the second largest Polish population in the world other than in Poland itself - Chicago almost has as many Poles in it as Warsaw, the Polish capital! Surely Americans could flee to Poland if there's a nuclear attack and the country has to be evacuated.

Sadly, the USA does not have many allies because they tend to bully other countries around. China and Japan have been bullied by us, and now Mexico is having its buttons pushed with all the "immigration" commotion - and normally Mexico had our back.

Canada, though so blissfully neutral, might be a good neighbor.

Don't kid yourself about any country trying to save any other country....The primary function of any state is the currency of that state'

When the Soviet Union collapsed, the American dollar was highly relied upon as a medium of exchange. That currency, that medium of exchange, that legal tender, known as the the American dollar is what's holding up 3/4 of the nations around the world.

The Euro, a relatively knew form of exchange is just that, new. If those nations involved in the Euro ever reverted back to a world war, how long do you think the Euro will last?

Other countries may not come to our aid now or in the future because of our values. But, because of that currency, that American dollar, the globe would suffer dramatically if the U.S. ever collapsed.

Legitimate and established governments would all come to our aid. It's called greed.

I moved to Canada from Texas four months ago, partially anticipating this.

Let's hope that Americans are smarter in 2008 and drive the Republicans out of both Houses of Congress, as well as the White House.

But then again, with most people under 30 misguidingly embracing a conservative philosophy, I find this doubtful.

No one will try to save us. The world is pissed. When countries get invaded, our nieghborhoods will look like Lebanon. That is because innocent people would be attacked because of their governments. That's what happened in Lebanon so apparently the innocents are the casualties when a government is stricken against by another. And all our troops aren't even here!!!! They're overseas in the middle east. Who do we have here? And who cares about innocent people dying? Well, I do and I sure would if it happend here.
And by the way, we ARE being invaded. By Mexico!

While alot of the actions of America may be questionable, your neighbour to the north would most definitely be there for you. Our countries are too intertwined for us not to be there. Our countries have not grown that far apart that Canada would stand by. Sure, we think you are a gun happy society who sticks their noses into too many places that they don't belong, but you are our neighbour and that's what neighbours do. Isn't it? Joining you in search of new oil reserves for all the wrong reasons(Iraq) is another question but if you were invaded, you could bet your bottom dollar, we'd be there.

We have 30 countries as a part of the Coalition in Iraq. I would think there may be a helping hand somewhere in that group. Don't you people get it, this is all about the Media and a election coming up. Jeez......

A think a few capital cities of the countries that are invading us will then cease to exist after disappearing in a mushroom cloud. We won't need any help.....

Who would want to invade the US? US is too powerful and could annihilate the world many times over if it uses its nuclear weapons.

You're not paying attention, son. We don't NEED anyone to "try and save us". May God have mercy on anyone who invades the US, because we won't.
