is it a cd? and if not what kind of disc can you use to save a pic from adobe photoshop?

It stands for Portable Document Format, a format for files that Adobe supports and is popular for text and image documents because it has precise positioning. When printed, the printed copy looks exactly like the soft copy on the computer screen, unlike some web pages. It is not a CD. You can save a file to any type of disc. Not sure what you're asking there. There are different file types for images, if that's what you're asking. The most common is JPG, though other formats are better to preserve image quality.

No, an iso is a CD. A .PDF is a file format created by adobe that usaully is for things like manuals, because it is universal and supports pictures as well as text. If you buy an e-book it is usually a .PDF You can use any kind of disc.
