Good for you but you sound almost like the Roman Emperor before his Empire ended.
If you don't stay alert and critical in a democracy, you will weaken the land you love eventually.
And really America should not hide in its shelf. If you want to be the leader of the free world, then you are going to have to respect us.And first and foremost respect International law. That you are the strongest kid on the playground does not give you the right to bully others. The treatment of detainees in Guantanamo for example is in excusable even if they are all real terrorists(for my idea's on those cowards, check my q&a).The whole point of a civilized socieety is injured when we set the rules of humanity aside cos we're dealing with bad people.
You can not make it on your own,it ain't gonna happen. No country can.China is already fast developing and will be a power factor in the world of tomorrow. You're gonna need your allies if you want to survive so don't push us away.

I am so glad to see that the Hitler youth is making a comeback. America is like most nations we do good and we make mistakes which can turn out quite badly. If you cannot see or deal with the truth then perhaps you should leave since you are the coward. Our very young country has done very well learning by its mistakes. It is commonly called "growing pains." Hopefully you are having "growing pains" and will take time to learn history before foaming at the mouth like a rapid dog. We are learning constantly and most of us realize that we don't do everything right all the time like most humans. It's just a fact of life.

Well, your viewpoint is exactly the problem. Being great doesn't mean you have to be arrogant, but that idea is apparently lost on you...we act like we are perfect and we are not. Just because we are the most powerful nation doesn't make our government's opinions and actions correct - a bit of humility would go a long way.

We should not be. i'm advantageous different cultures does not be cow towing like we do in a ludicrous attempt to be politically properly suited. in simple terms those days they started permitting the Salvation military to ring their bells at their Christmas Kettle stress interior the paying for department shops. They have been advised to not because of the noise, yet a public outcry placed an end to that ban. Hit the retailers the place they stay--their financial business enterprise debts. returned, Merry Christmas

Who thinks that? Never apologise for who you are. I think that Americans could do without some of the superiority attitude, but that's different from "being great." When it comes to countries that are not as advanced, industrially, I mean, we should be kind and helpful, but not push our ways upon others who are not interested.

Many people blame Americans for bad things that our government does. See, we have to understand that we look really evil to the rest of the world right now due to our unbiased support of another nation who is killing innocent people. I do not blame them.

I don't think America's all that great. There are many other great countries that have all wealth and freedom, but without the attitude. (ie: Canada).
