EVERYTHING IS GEARED UP FOR 18 - 30 WHICH IS FINE, I HOPE THEY HAVE A GREAT TIME I DID. WE'RE TO OLD FOR 18's - 30's BUT TO YOUNG FOR MECA BINGO.
ALL OF MY FRIENDS WERE AT THE BIRTH OF RAVE (GROVER’S) WIGAN PIER. SOME OF US HAVE KIDS WHO GO TO OUR LOCAL NIGHT CLUBS. I AM THINKING OF SETTING SOMETHING UP. E.G. 30's - 50's ANY IDEA'S ?

Christ I wish you would hurry up and do it in every town and city in the UK, how times change hey, bet you remember seeing some old person at Wigan Pier when you were 18 and said to your mates Jesus look at the old crow who does he think he is, now us 30 to 50 group are fed up with the same old pubs and clubs that are full of those 18 year olds cause now were old crows, I have a bit of an idea though it depends on what your taste is really, how about a diner club, do you and your mates like a good meal round a huge table were you can all get together and have a good old chat in good company with lots of drink and nice grub, you must have some restaurants near to you who will be prepared to let you have part of a restaurant or a room once a month or how often you can all afford it, or do it at one of the gangs houses and all take something with you that others like to eat with a few bottle of booze or cans of booze, how about hiring one of the local nightclubs once a month or week and having it how you all want it to be for a night and invite other 30 to 50 along I bet it gets going and if you leaflet it in the nearest towns to you it will become a regular event, hope whatever you decide it takes off and hey don't forget to invite this old crow will you, good luck.

I know exactly how you feel thinking of giving up and trying the bingo ...... Help ..... what happened to us all we were the ones who started the rave and know we have been told to get back to our coffins tried going to the local night club but it made me feel worse they were all about 14 and 15 giggly girls and desperate boys we need a place to go out where it can be for our age group and not infiltrated by teeny boppers

flipp i still party with the young ones we get along great i
still have a good time i still need to feel that energy from time to time even though im old enough to be some of their father's i cant rave like i used to and it takes me longer to recover but going to a club full of my own peers would be the same as going to mecca bingo.
to me youth = energy = vibrance = party. it all still pumps through my veins i just look older on the outside but im a raver till i die on the inside but with out the 18-30s it wouldnt be the same

you only as old as feel/act being 30sh doesn't mean you have to change your social lifestyle ( I'm 30sh and take pride in the fact I'm still as fit/if not fitter than some people 10 yrs younger than me.
