ok so my brother plugged my ipod into his itunes...and put his songs on it...but now i plugged my ipod into my itunes but my itunes aren't updating...like transfering the songs back to itunes or w.e...

how do i update it? like when the ipod is plugged in...it says my ipod and shows are the songs...but then it doesn't go into my library and if i fix them...it doesnt' update on my ipod

my library isn't updating either..the songs that are on my ipod aren't updating into my library...i already put everything on manual

This should be easy. It's possible your brother has enabled the disk mode on the iPod.

After you plug your iPod to iTunes, check if the disk mode is enabled on the iPod (Preferences>iPod). Disable it if it's enabled.

It should work after that. Also enables auto sync or manual playlist selection. The latter (i think) is known to case this problem.

There is a lock on itunes and if an ipod is put into a different itunes the lock can screw up the updating. Try reseting it it tells you how in the ipod manual.

thatz pretty easy. since u uploaded from ur brothers itunes, delete all the songs that are in ur ipod from there adn then make it so that u have a blank ipod and a blank itunes. from there, ull b able 2 upload any songs u want. if u still want some songs from ur brothers itunes, ust make him burn a cd with it and then transfer it.
