What would you reaction be if you seen a girl working under the hood of a car .......?

on a hot summer day wearing shorts and a tank top greese from head to toe?


"Working on cars is fun and interesting yet it can be a challenge at times especially if you don't know much about them and still learning everything there is to know which is neverending"

Sometimes that is where you will find me under the hood of my car making minor repairs or doing premventitive maintence on it.

also just some don't get the wrong idea about me I am also consider attractive to most have pics on 360 page check them out. if you need reassurance. I learn by doing and can look at a picture in a auto manual and can fingure out what needs to be done, I learn very quickly.

To the women out there a little dirt and greese never hurt anyone, and washes off.

And it does not matter if you are ugly or attractive, if you are petite or huge if you have the interest in it and you are willing to learn go for it and I also learned that a relationship with a guy can even be better too because this is something else you can do as a couple not to mention some guys do get turned on by a women willing to get under the hood of a car.

foregot to add I am 40 yrs old, 5/3" and wiegh about 120 pounds and considered petite.

I'd ask if you have a sister , being a motor head all my life has been great fun, but I get soooo tired of women who look down on mechanics: that is until they break down, then you,re their bestest buddy while they have a use for you. Sorry for the rant , it's great to hear about someone who's willing to get their hands dirty and learn at the same time. I raise my beer to you , keep up the good work.

I think that's great!! I wish I had the mechanical ability to do that.

My father was a great driveway mechanic, and so is my husband, and most of the men in our families.

When I was a kid, my Dad used to try to explain all about how car engines worked, and how to fix stuff, and it just went in one ear and out the other.

I've picked up some info over the years (married 34 years now), and I sure wish I would have paid attention, and/or had the ability to understand it better.

GOOD FOR YOU!! You will not have to depend on men to do that stuff for you. A guy would really appreciate sharing that with his lady, I imagine.

Sometimes the women will outdo the men just to be accepted... It's a strange site considering stereotypes, but with women being Tomboys sometimes they will surprise you....

I've actually seen one woman I used to know do the maintainace on the car cause the husband wasn't mechanically inclined and she was

I would think it's great, when I was a sgt in the army I had two females working as heavy equipment mechanics in my squad, and one of them was way better then the men be because she was doing what she loved. If working under the hood makes you happy girl, then go for it and have fun.

don't sell yourself short on the "look". If you don't know squat about cars and your trying to be "sexy", it actually is unsexy. Learn all you can about cars, that means listen, read and try things on your own, or if you know someone who is car savvy. I learned most of my knowledge from guys who gave me a chance to prove myself, and made it my career for 8 years. Chicks and cars rock, but don't just act like you care, cuz if you don't, then the grease on your clothes just looks stupid.
