When I was about 16 I got hit in the nose with a volleyball and it has been crooked ever since. It's not that bad and no one else seems to notice it but I am very self-conscious about it. Also, I'm getting married next year and want to look perfect. Should I get it straightened or is that too superficial?

u should do what makes u feel beautiful and if ur on here asking that q it sounds like ur concerned about it, so i would get it fixed that way ull be back to your normal self before u were hit, when i was little i got hit in the mouth by a little boy and it chipped my front tooth, so until 9th grade it was chipped and i hated it it made me feel self conscious so i got cosmetic surgery and fixed it, now i smile all the time and it feels great. good luck and congrats on your wedding, i hope everything goes perfectly

Crooked noses only add to ones unique looks and differ you from the rest - Look at Owen Wilson, he is a heart-throb with his crooked nose...there's no such thing as perfection...trying to blend in with the masses is boring, embrace your unique looks!!!

Play volleyball some more, only face the opposite direction. That way, when the volleyball hits you again, your nose will go back! It will also get you in shape so you don't look so fat in that wedding dress.....Vollyball chicks have great butts!

I say leave it like it is. That way, if someone ever DOES notice, you can make up really cool stories about how it happened. Ninjas, gang fights, what ever suits your fancy that day.

Really, though. I broke my nose playing softball, so now it is a little off kilter but I think it gives me character. Plus, what if they accidentally screw up your nose job, then you might really have something to complain about!

Well its your body, so its your choice. I happen to think that its the odds and things that make people look different and unique that make people more beautiful. Also I've never known an ugly bride. Congratulations and the best of luck to you and yours!

Leave t the way it is, otherwise everyone will be talking about your nose job and how vain you are on your wedding day. Be yourself, obviously your fiancé loves you just the way you are!

If you aren't happy with yourself and if its causing low self-esteem you should definately do something about it. You can get it straightened very easily.
