To cover all the basis of your question /slash/statement we would have to break it down into two questions. One. Is it constitutional? Two: Why has no one done anything to stop? Are you saying that nothing is being done because you are not aware of what if anything is being done? Alternatively, are you saying why isn't everyone getting off their butts and joining those that are?

My impression is that you are not aware and if that is so then I have one answer and a different one for the second option.

This question is more like a statement. It does not ask, it states that no one is doing anything to put a stop this. You are very wrong in your assumption.

Now understand that I do not mean be offensive and you represent the vast majority of us so do not take it personally or be offended.

If you are asking or stating that no one is doing anything to stop it, then it is obvious that it is you and anyone you know, not doing anything to stop it because if you were doing something you would know what is being done. You would know that "someone" has to take up the slack for the "no one's”. Those that are bravely confronting the government and being jailed for it too. Instead of asking, expecting and even demanding what others are doing you would know.

Have you paid your taxes without objection? Have you informed your employer that employers all over the nation are not paying the taxes to the IRS and instead holding them in a fund so they cannot be accused "of not paying taxes" and wanting the keep the money like someone here stated.

When you talk about "selecting" a president and listen to the news do you still think an election issue is the economy, or the war or Medicare? Have you expressed to your district and state representatives that you could care less about that and will only vote for someone that will take our public airways away from the five conglomerates that do what the gov. cannot do directly? Is your congressperson going to sign an affidavit to terminate the Federal Reserve? Do you even know that the Fourth Estate is dead?

First question. You say "if". Are you asking? Is there is an unconstitutional amendment that would render the IRS's and the collection of Income Tax illegal and a criminal conspiracy with the silence of every single elected government official and media censorship, to restrain the issue, stripping the people of their right to know about this fraud beyond comprehension? It would mean that you and I and anyone that has had their monies deducted from their paychecks has been scammed and abused, robbed beyond belief by monsters and this is more like a king taking from his subjects instead of a democracy.

The first step is making up your own mind. Is it or isn't it? To do this turn off the TV. You are blessed cause you have the Internet and even then it is not easy to know which way is up. Each of should take steps to do the same about all issues regarding government and their actions.

So asking the question is a good thing, because you take it upon your self to research and each individual citizen should do the same for the myriad of in your face signs of no longer having a government for the people by the people.

As for the gentlemen that said, the Supreme Court says its legal, he is partly right. The Supreme Court has refused the people's right to "redress of grievances" and simply will not take the cases stating they are mute.http://www.givemeliberty.org/RTPLawsuit/Research/Higginson--ShortHistory.PDF So indirectly, they are stating that it is legal. check out this dismissal and how the supreme court says the government doesn't have to "listen". I never heard that on the news when they speak of liberlty and democracy and run ads to join the military. Boggles the mind. http://www.givemeliberty.org/RTPLawsuit/CourtFilings/USDC-OrderDismiss08-31-05.pdf
HOWEVER, from jumpstreet taxes and the amendment were for corporation! Not individuals. The Supreme Court has refused to answer as to the ratification of the amendment too.

http://www4.law.cornell.edu/anncon/html/amdt16_user.html

By the way, he hit the nail on the head too. I mean what does it say when our supreme court says they cannot look into the constitutionality of a freaking amendment. Can one even imagine how many other issues we trusted them, as did our Founding Fathers that they have arbitrarily conspired against the People about? I mean to me the Supreme Court...well...it was supreme. I believed in "honorable". After the Kelo decision that took our property rights it changed for me. It boggles the mind. Four amendments supposedly were never ratified. Can you imagine?

did congress ever have the authority to do such a thing assuming they did? The Constitution afforded citizens this protection in Article I, Section 9, which reads, in part, "No Capitation, or other direct Tax shall be laid, unless in Proportion to the Census or enumeration herein before directed to be taken." http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1666165/posts

Many things are wrong. Personally, I believe that without the Fourth Estate, free speech and free press which was a check and balances to hold the government accountable the people who no longer have the right to know, the people will someday be pushed over the edge into open anarchy for which the government is preparing. In the meanwhile, you are all blessed because you have Internet. Use it! You will be utterly enraged if you were to find out how thoroughly we are being deceived and how criminal our mass media is.

here are a mess of links from a project i am stressing over http://www.foundingfathersmarch.com/oldcomputer/master/lettertofcc.doc (nowhere finished and with multiple error but a zillion links that took months for me to find) regarding media ownership and prior restraints. They are not answering anyone's comments. Just giving you some of the massive amount of what goes on that the people are being lied about. In New Orleans under zero access, the citizens were forcefully evacuated by the military and 4000 are dead or missing.oops "displaced”. They must all have Alzheimer’s or wearing pampers, or did not see ET and cannot phone home. The first 152 bodies said a coroner: 20 were drownings. So, the other 132 were not related to Katrina. What were they? No autopsies were done.

how does every single tv station ignore a natiional hurricane advisory that said the winds were 110 mph in New Orleans and the President goes on TV and calls it an "abnormal storm" and the biggest disaster in history. It was barely a CAT 2 storm!!!!. you cannot dissappear americans from their soil unless you have a huge storm. you cannot give them shelter in teh Grand Canyon and then massive land grab thier homes if the storm was an indirect hit and never topped the levees.

Relocation to be missing from the face of the earth happened to Jews in Germany. Only there it was the holocaust. In front of the whole world the military was let loose on that city. American citizens like you and I did nothing. Yet, we bring home our children in body bags from Iraq. 42 percent of the dead are white so it was not a black thing either. The city was disarmed, this bears repeating, they took away everyone's weapons, and then evacuated it. If I wanted to take a city, it would make sense to strip them of their right to bear arms.

My answer remains to your question of why then has nobody done anything to put a stop to it, the power of the people is less when "someone" decides to do nothing and since there are more of "them" then those that do at least try, chances are the people cannot win.'
If you are not terrified, you are not paying attention. Without you, someone else has to work 100 times harder and literally go nuts while you ask this questions and others simply complain. One day we are going to end up in 21 million beds our democracy is preparing for us. Maybe then you will know why each of us has to hit the streets and mobilize. More then anything, you have to get news. Real news. I used to think or expect that others would take care of what ails us. I never went to college so I thought smarter people would surely know better then I and fix it. Turns out the smarter, they are the more they look the other way or shrug their shoulders. Look at the newscasters. They are either huge cowards or for sale. It is disgusting.
We are losing and they are winning and its because "somebody" is doing nothing while others are.

Anyways, just trying to light a fire under everyone's feet. Really no malice intended. God bless.

sorry the spell check doo hickie is not working.

The income tax is not by itself unconstitutional, the implementation of it is. There is the equal protection clause states that all citizens are equal under the Constitution. The income tax is different depending upon how much money you make. This is what violates the Constitution.

I doubt the Courts would ever rule the income tax illegal, as much as I would like to. No one will put a stop to it because we as a society would never put in enough Conservative Republicans to do so. I will see the day that the Fair Tax is implemented and we cease taxing economic progress.

The income tax in not unconstitutional. An amendment adopted in the early 20th century, the 16th I believe, authorizes the federal government to collect taxes on income.

The IRS may be the scariest of all departments in the Federal Government . They bring in the vast majority of our country's money and I suppose doing away with income tax would require such a dramatic shift in the way we live and the government runs that it seems near impossible.

The IRS will not give up that cash flow.

The constitution says that the government CAN levy taxes. It is not unconstitutional. Read a book.

This subject is debated quit frequently by people who don't want to pay taxes, however, those people, like you, make invalid claims about the constitutionality or legality of income tax. Please check your sources and speak to a lawyer because income tax is legal and constitutional.

Internal Revenue Code sections 1 (26 U.S.C. § 1) and 11 (26 U.S.C. § 11) are examples of statutes that impose an income tax on taxable income, which in turn is defined in section 63 (26
U.S.C. § 63). For the requirement to file Federal income tax returns, see 26 U.S.C. § 6012. For the duty to pay the tax at the time prescribed for filing the related tax return, see 26 U.S.C. § 6151. For civil penalties for failure to timely file tax returns, see 26 U.S.C. § 6651(a)(1). For civil penalties for failure to timely pay taxes, see 26 U.S.C. § 6651(a)(2). For criminal penalties for failure to timely file tax returns or pay taxes, see 26 U.S.C. § 7203.

Good luck.

Unfortunately thanks to the 16th Amendment it's constitutional.
Amendment XVI
(Ratified in 1913.)

The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration.

Income tax is constitutional. Period. Even a radical like G. Gordon Liddy will tell you that taxes are constitutional.

People who question the Government too loudly end up in jail, Guatanamo Bay, or dead.
