hypnotherapy is excellent for phobias, and dealig with excessive anxiety. It may be worth finding someone that does Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) or Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) as these are the 2 most effective and efficient ways of dealing with phobias. Your phobia will be gone after one session. Both of these can be found on numerous websites online.

well it will work if u believe in it, i had hypno for panic attacks and phobia of flying/driving/lifts claustrophobia and last week i jumped out of a plane at 13000 feet skydiving tandem :) Phobias are just built emotions you get confused about and have taught yourself to frighten yourself too much, hypno will help you undo that and you will remember how silly it is to worr about stuff like that, i think back to when i was a kid and went on a plane and enjoyed it!

Medications, talk therapy--behavior mod is a great therapy.

Phobias and fears come from the Limbic system..the old fight or flight guys.

it does help a lot of different problems,
my sister used it to calm her nerves before her driving test. she passed after 4 fails [including 1 dangerous].
I know some people have used it to combat pain.
give it ago what have you got to lose, [apart from your job is you don't]
