It depends on your age, personal style and how far you are willing to drive to get to that specific store. If you're punk-Hot Topic, If you're trendy, wow, there's alot- Forever 21, Delia's, Mandee's. If you're more causual/sporty Cali trendy - PacSun (a.k.a. Pacific Sun). There are really no limits on where you can shop depending on your mood and personal style. Try everything out!
