Do you ever wonder where we are headed as a society?

I do. I see our society being so dviided and full of hate/prejudices. Why do we seem to focus on what our neighbor is doing more than what our own family problems? Are humans just doomed to ever be able to get along?

There was a movie called Forbidden Planet about a civilization that was real advanced, they had everything, then it all fell apart, they all died. Thats the way I see it for us. We have everything going for us--great advances in medicine, science, a stable and growing economy, but people got hung up on these peripheral delusional fantasies--religion--and they blew it all. So where its going is Mexico. The middle class has voted itself into poverty, they will become peasants, poor and uneducated and believing whatever the preachers them because they don't know any better, and life is so bad alive that their only hope will be a better life once they die, if they do not rock the boat now.
