My mail arrives between noon and one o'clock on average. But before I moved into this apartment, I didn't get my mail until almost five o'clock.
I think it has a lot to do with how far you live from the post office. Carriers spend the morning sorting the mail so that they can drop off all the mail that goes to #1 Your Street in one trip. Then they go to #3 Your Street, #5, #7, and all up the odd-numbered side of the street. Then they cross the street and deliver the mail to #98, #96, #94, and all the way back on the even-numbered side of the street. This way the carrier is not constantly crossing back and forth, and wasting time.
I've also noticed if it's the beginning of the month when Social Security checks come out, or in the middle when the magazines are published, my mail will be later than normal because the postman has a lot more to carry on those days.
If you are having problems with your mail, you should call your local post office, or the national customer service hotline, and see if they can tell you anything helpful.

12:30. I wish it was early. It used to be here by 10:30 AM, but apparently the mail lady changed her route. Bummer!

Between 4-5 pm. It's RIDICULOUS. I'm sure that our mail-lady has it in for us. Sometimes not at all.
